Editorial policy

How we write every guide

  1. Primary sources

We cite official documents (BACB, AHCA, HHS, CMS, CASP) and link the version we read, with its date.

  2. Dates in plain sight

Every guide shows when it was published and last updated.

  3. Clinical review

When a BCBA reviews a guide, we show their name and a link to their certification in the BACB registry. If a guide has not had a clinical review yet, we show no badge.

  4. Corrections

If a rule changes or we find an error, we update the guide and its update date.

  5. Independence

ABA PARTNERS makes ATLAS and education programs. When a guide mentions one of our products, we say so. Guides do not replace clinical judgment or legal advice.

  6. Use of AI

We use AI tools to research and draft. Every fact is checked against its source before it is published.
